The designs embrace the old and the new, combining traditional materials and techniques with a contemporary sensibility. In this age of mass production, Hamimi instead focus on hand crafting the products in the traditional artisan way. Each product is invested with human touch – made by hand with heart.
The crochet lights and jewellery are handmade by a small community of women in a village just outside Marrakech. By partnering with these women Hamimi aims to help keep their traditional skills alive and create a brighter future for them and their families.
